To champion sustainable, car-lite lifestyles, CarShareVT required an interactive tool capable of breaking down the hidden, long-term financial liabilities of private vehicle ownership. The project demanded transforming dense mathematical equations—incorporating multi-variable inputs like auto loans, depreciation, regional insurance costs, and fuel averages—into a responsive, high-fidelity comparative cost modeling engine that drives immediate user insight.

I engineered an elaborate, standalone calculator engine using client-side JavaScript integrated within their primary WordPress environment. By structuring precise mathematical models and minimizing runtime state complexity, the application outputs complex comparative visualizations instantaneously as users toggle variables. Upon form submission, the system executes a secure API runtime function that maps and transmits the user's custom modeling metrics directly into a centralized Google Sheets ecosystem, creating a frictionless user experience with zero lag time and automated data collection for program organizers.
